Under his leadership C-Saúde been expanding and improving HIV care and treatment services in Zambézia Province through partnerships with the Ministry of Health and donor agencies. He previously served as the Regional Director for Africa at International Relief and Development, spearheading development programs in areas such as economic growth, nutrition, WASH, and humanitarian assistance across multiple countries. Ntasis has collaborated with USAID, WFP, and UNICEF. He holds a Ph.D. from the National Technical University of Athens and an MPH from Columbia University. José Tique Technical Director José Tique Technical Director José Tique is the C-Saúde Technical Director, Tique leads a multidisciplinary technical team that provides support to HIV, TB, malaria prevention, and care and treatment programs in multiple provinces in Mozambique. He also participated in the development and implementation of various HIV prevention and care and treatment policies, guidelines, and protocols for program evaluation, including the national HIV test and start guidelines implementation protocol. Tique earned his medical degree from Eduardo Mondlane University and Master of Public Health from Vanderbilt University. Julieta Matsimbe Deputy Technical Director Julieta Matsimbe Deputy Technical Director Julieta Matsimbe is the Deputy Technical Director at C-Saúde, overseeing clinical activities. She has significantly enhanced HIV care and treatment services in Zambézia Province by fostering strong relationships with government and community health partners. Her career includes roles as a general practitioner in Maputo and a resident physician in Nampula and Maputo Provinces. In Quelimane, she led HIV program implementations aligned with Ministry of Health guidelines. Julieta holds a medical degree from Eduardo Mondlane University and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the Catholic University in Mozambique. Eurico José Health Information Systems Director Eurico José Health Information Systems Director Eurico José is the Director of health information systems at C-Saúde, where he initiated health information systems activities and expanded into HIV care programs for Nicoadala and Derre districts in Zambézia province. He has developed various technological solutions, including Patient Tracking Systems and Pharmacy Systems, being implemented nationwide by different PEPFAR partners. Eurico holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, both from Eduardo Mondlane University Maria Fernanda Alvim Strategic Information Director Maria Fernanda Alvim Strategic Information Director Maria Fernanda Alvim is the Strategic Information Director at C-Saúde, overseeing M&E activities and data management systems. She leads data analysis across all C-Saúde projects and heads the strategic information team. Fernanda has worked with various international organizations, including UNESCO, WHO, and ICAP in Brazil, Panama, Angola, and Mozambique. She holds a Master of Public Health from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and has additional qualifications in Health Surveillance, Evaluation of Endemic Diseases, and International Health. Tatiana Voloh Finance Director Tatiana Voloh Finance Director Tatiana Voloh is the C-Saúde Finance Director. Tatiana is responsible for all financial management and compliance with donor regulations. She supervises the organization’s accounting system and leads the finance team. Tatiana has a Master of Economic Policy Management from the University of Auvergne’s Center for Studies in International Development in France, and a Master of Public Administration from the Academy of Public Administration in Moldova. Adriano Cumbane Human Resources Director Adriano Cumbane Human Resources Director Adriano Cumbane is the C-Saúde Human Resources Director. Adriano manages the HR team and oversees all national-level recruitment and HR processes, as well as serving as the liaison with the Ministry of Labor. Adriano has more than 20 years of experience in human resources in various settings and contexts, including large-scale industrial mining and agricultural projects in Angola, Brazil, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, as well as Mozambique. Cumbane has a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the Camilo José Cela University, Madrid, Spain, with a specialization in Leadership Coaching. Valdimiro Beleza Senior Operations Advisor Valdimiro Beleza Senior Operations Advisor Valdimiro Beleza is the Senior Operations Advisor (SOA) of C-Saúde. As SOA, Valdimiro oversees the Human Resources, Operations, Logistics and Purchasing, and IT departments, as well as subcontract management. Valdimiro has a master’s degree in economics with an emphasis on finance from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE-China). He has a degree in accounting and finance from Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique. Filza Julaia Internal Audit Director Filza Julaia Internal Audit Director Filza Julaia is the C-Saúde Internal Audit Director. Filza oversees the C-Saúde Internal Audit System and supports the organization’s overall risk management. She managed external and internal audits for Deloitte Mozambique, covering several industries and multinational companies from financial services to non-profit organizations. Filza holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique, and is currently studying for the International Accounting Certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK). António Bila Provincial Operations Director António Bila Provincial Operations Director António Bila is the C-Saúde Provincial Operations Director based in Quelimane, Zambézia Province. He serves as the C-Saúde liaison with the Provincial Health Directorate of Zambézia and the focal point for emergency response. Bila has over a decade of experience supporting operations for HIV/AIDS programs in Mozambique. Prior to joining C-Saúde, he began his career with the Institute of Health Sciences in Tete, and later worked with the Ministry of Health as the Department Head for national planning and health curriculum review. Bila holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of International Health from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is currently working towards his PhD in public health from Atlantic International University, USA. Thomas Bonnet Operations Efficiencies Director Thomas Bonnet Operations Efficiencies Director Thomas is the C-Saúde Operations Efficiencies Director. He currently works to optimize operational efficiencies within the Administrative, Logistics & Procurement, and Human Resources Departments, and leads the department of Health Management Mentoring.
