A C-Sa\u00fade opera no sector da sa\u00fade p\u00fablica e n\u00e3o tem fins pol\u00edticos ou religiosos.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d5e5e3b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d5e5e3b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A C-Sa\u00fade foi estabelecida em 2020 com o apoio do Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) e da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o sem fins lucrativos Friends in Global Health, LLC (FGH). At\u00e9 o in\u00edcio de 2023, a VUMC tem implementado todos os seus programas financiados pelo PEPFAR em Mo\u00e7ambique por meio da FGH. O estabelecimento e o crescimento da C-Sa\u00fade foi um pilar importante na estrat\u00e9gia de transi\u00e7\u00e3o da implementa\u00e7\u00e3o dos programas do PEPFAR apoiados pela VUMC. Nesta estrat\u00e9gia, os recursos empregados na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o dos programas da VUMC em Mo\u00e7ambique foram gradualmente transferidos de FGH para a C-Sa\u00fade.<\/p><p>Em Maio de 2023 e no \u00e2mbito deste processo de transi\u00e7\u00e3o, a C-Sa\u00fade come\u00e7ou a implementar todas as actividades de apoio central do PEPFAR na \u00e1rea de Sistemas de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o em Sa\u00fade. Em Outubro de 2023, a C-Sa\u00fade come\u00e7ou a prestar apoio t\u00e9cnico aos distritos de Nicoadala e Derre, na prov\u00edncia da Zamb\u00e9zia, servindo 26.488 pessoas em tratamento antirretroviral (Dezembro de 2023).<\/p><p>A partir de Outubro 2024, a C-Sa\u00fade passou a implementar todas as actividades do programa Avante em Mo\u00e7ambique com financiamento do CDC\/PEPFAR atrav\u00e9s do VUMC.<\/p><p>Em Outubro 2024, a C-Sa\u00fade iniciou a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do seu primeiro programa directamente financiado pelo CDC\/PEPFAR. In this strategy, the resources used to implement VUMC programmes in Mozambique were gradually transferred from FGH to C-Sa\u00fade. In May 2023, as part of this transition process, C-Sa\u00fade began implementing all of PEPFAR&#8217;s central support activities in the area of Health Information Systems. In October 2023, C-Sa\u00fade began providing technical support to the districts of Nicoadala and Derre in Zamb\u00e9zia province, serving 26,488 people on antiretroviral treatment (December 2023). As of October 2024, C-Sa\u00fade was implementing all the activities of the Avante programme in Mozambique with funding from the CDC\/PEPFAR through VUMC. In October 2024, C-Sa\u00fade began implementing its first programme directly funded by the CDC\/PEPFAR. This programme, called Avante Sa\u00fade, aims to support the MISAU and PEPFAR partners in the area of Health Information Systems and to support the province of Zamb\u00e9zia in the process of graduating from PEPFAR-funded activities to the Government of Mozambique.
