Com a miss\u00e3o de reduzir as taxas de mortalidade e promover a detec\u00e7\u00e3o precoce da doen\u00e7a, essa iniciativa n\u00e3o apenas enfatiza a import\u00e2ncia dos cuidados preventivos, mas tamb\u00e9m visa conscientizar a popula\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a gravidade desta condi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n

A import\u00e2ncia desta campanha se torna ainda mais evidente quando se considera que, segundo estimativas, cerca de 80% das mulheres mo\u00e7ambicanas n\u00e3o t\u00eam acesso a exames regulares. Al\u00e9m disso, a falta de informa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a doen\u00e7a contribui para os altos \u00edndices de mortalidade. Especialmente em mulheres HIV positivas, o rastreio do cancro do colo do \u00fatero \u00e9 crucial, j\u00e1 que esta popula\u00e7\u00e3o apresenta um risco aumentado de desenvolver les\u00f5es precoces.
