C-Saúde

Avante Saúde

Avante Saúde is a C-Saúde program funded by the United States Government (USG). The program started on Sep 30, 2024 and is expected to be completed on Sep 29, 2029.

The Avante Saúde program assists the Government of Mozambique (GM) to control the HIV epidemic through support to Health Information Systems (HIS), while in Zambézia province, it supports the gradual transition and sustainment of USG-supported HIV and TB prevention, care and treatment programming to GM health authorities.

The C-Saúde Avante Saúde program focuses on two main Strategies:

Strategy 1 – C-Saúde supports the Mozambique Ministry of Health (MOH) to optimize and scale HIS solutions to improve service delivery and data-driven decision-making for HIV, TB, and other emerging disease programs. Strategy 1 activities are implemented by C-Saúde’s Maputo-based HIS team that supports the MOH.

Strategy 2 – C-Saúde supports the transition and sustainment of USG-supported HIV programmatic management, service delivery, and Monitoring and Evaluation to provincial and other government entities in line with the overall vision for country-led, sustainable, and localized programming, through targeted Technical Support and Direct Service Delivery support.
